Utilized as an Air Hostess with Spice Jet, Mumbai-based Preeti Sengupta has a sweetheart in Karan Malhotra. Both choose to lease a condo close Oshiwara and offer the lease. Yet, when she sees that he is giving more consideration to different females, she says a final farewell to him, and chooses to lease a space to a female paying visitor. She discovers one in Neha Bhargav, a worker from a book shop, who calls her ‘Didi’, consents to pay the lease on schedule, and even does all the housework and cooking. Preeti makes up with Karan at the intercession of her neighbor, Madhusudan, yet feels compromised by Neha, who is getting excessively cordial with Karan. After Madhusudan’s feline passes on out of the blue he chooses to test further into Neha’s past – and it is this choice that will change everybody’s lives for eternity.
