Seasons Greeting (2019) Film Short Story :

A mother and little girl relationship, set in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. The brief film is about Romita (Celina Jaitly Haag) who chooses to present her live-in accomplice Usmaan “Azhar Khan” to her mom Suchitra “Lillette Dubey” who remains in a home with her house keeper Chapala “Shree Ghatak”. On a September early afternoon, they visit Suchitra, a woman who lives alone in the wake of being isolated from her significant other. Incidentally, she lives in a house ‘Utsab’ (which means Festival) yet she is desolate, frequently lost in her considerations. Music is her lone friend since her little girl ventures out because of work tasks and remains in an alternate city. Girl’s home coming is constantly celebrated in Bengal, much the same as Durga Puja. So after years Suchitra investigates every possibility to invite her girl and her fiancee Usmaan.
