Thenmerku Paruvakaatru (2010) Film Short Story :

Set in the scenery of Theni, the story is about Murugaiyan (Vijay Sethupathi), who is a goatherd. He has a caring mother, Veerayi (Saranya Ponvannan), who is a widow. She battles hard to raise Murugan yet has a flooding love for him. In the interim, there is a posse which assaults the residents around evening time and takes their goats. Murugan, alongside his gathering, figures out how to get one of the individuals in an assault and finds that it is a young lady. Her name is Pechi (Vasundhara Kashyap), and her family takes goats for their occupation. While Murugan creates affections for her, Pechi’s family is known to be very hazardous. Veerayi comes to know this and solicited Murugan to wed a young lady from her decision. He will not acknowledge her desire.
